IR vision switching on a bit too soon in daylight?

Hi, I doubt it is just me but do you guys think the switch to black and white happens a bit too soon? If its a common yes then perhaps a firmware tweak? if not the ability to adjust in camera settings would be nice.

Maybe just me? See below 2 camera previews in my garden at the same time. I caught it just before the 2nd switched

Yeah, the cameras seem to need a lot of light to not rely on infrared. Just got mine hooked up yesterday and noticed this. Also, I wish the infrared light was a little stronger.  I have a sharx camera that does much better, but it was a nightmare to try and get it to stay connected to the network. It may just be a limitation of these little cameras.

If needed / wanted, you can add any external IR floodlight that is 850nm in frequency to increase range at night.  I've used the older IR flood that was designed for Vuezone and its range added an additional 30 ft.... the are many on Amazon or ebay.
