I just purchased a second Arlo camera to set up. Not syncing. Had camera within 1 foot of base station while trying to sync, still not working. Tried changing the batteries, but no improvement. Still get amber light on the camera. Returned that camera to the store and purchased another one. Same ptoblem. When I go to sync it, I push the button on the base station: Three green LEDs show up, but do not blink. Tried syncing again, get blue flashing on camera, then amber. Are both cameras defective or I am doing something wrong. The first camera was so easy to set up. Feeling very frustrated!

How long are you pressing the sync button for?
If I tap just briefly on the sync button on my base station the third LED from the left will start blinking immediately. At that point you'd press the button on a new unregistered camera to initiate the synchronization process between base station and camera.
Without the base station LED blinking there is no use in pressing the camera button, because the base station is not ready to synchronize and the camera's synchronization attempt will be for naught.

Have DSL internet at 6mps, was able to connect only 1 arlo camera to base station and unable to sync any other cameras. I have 4 more to sync.
Describe what's happening.
- You briefly press the sync button on the right side of the base station.
- Of your three solid green LEDs on the base station, the third from the left starts blinking.
- You press the button on your camera. The blue LED on the camera begins to blink.
- When the blue LED on the camera blinks rapidly, your camera is in the process of syncing to the base station.
- When the blue LED on the camera stops blinking and goes dark your camera has sucessfully synced to the base station.
- The green LED on the base station that was blinking is solid again.
Where does your process fail? What are the symptoms?

Also, your report that you have 6Mbs DSL implies only the download speed. What's important is the upload speed which can be tested by using speedtest.net.

I'm a bit surprised at that but BT uses 2.4GHz. so it apparently was strong enough to interfere with the signals. Thanks for the tip.
