HW Version VMB3500r4 Firmware 1.11.9.0_26520
When a change the recording time it wont save; when I create a new Mode after going through all the steps once a try to save it it will buffer but wont save any changes.

Have you tried to reboot the base station and test again? Also, are you trying to create the mode on the Arlo Mobile App or the web portal? If doing this on the app, can you try and create the mode on the web.

Now it has gone back to being stuck on getting status on the android app. Shows on mobile app but wont save new modes....

What version of firmware is your system currently running? Have you performed a Factory Reset After the base station has updated?

Mulato,
A factory reset & a reboot are two different options. When did you last factory reset the base station by pressing the small reset button for 10 sec? I have provided the link here - How To Perform A Factory Reset
