I have had my Arlo off for awhile. Today I set it up again and immediately encountered issues. First off it shows my base and all cameras are off/not connected to the internet. I only set up one camera for now and it is working despite Arlo saying everything is offline.

I cannot acess Device Settings, Account , or Systems, as they are greyed over and I cant click on them. I also cant even manage automatic updates which I believe is probably the problem as I have been off line for awhile. I cant even locate autoupdates. I appreciate and help you can give me.

                                                                                                              ThankYou

Possibly multiple issues.

1) With the base off, the cameras will try to get a connection, draining the batteries.  Try a fresh set of batteries.

2) What are the LEDs on the base doing?  There should be 3 green ones - power, Internet and cameras.

3) Updates are now automatic.  If the base is connected to the Internet, firmware will be automatically updated overnight as will cameras.

4) Device Settings, Accounts and System are all just section separators.  You click on things under them to make changes.

I cannot access any information in regards to my cameras under system as it is greyed over. I cant set up times to be  on or off etc etc. The options are not available to me what so ever. I have rebooted everything  and yet its the same. The system was off for abit but its been on for a week now with no results. All 3 lights are on and Im connected to the internet. This thing is wasting alot of my time for something that is supposed to be so simple. It was working fine up until I went offline for a bit and then rebooted it. There is nothing underneath the grey areas for me to access in relation to it. Please help me out, ThankYou.

Basically,  Device Settings, Account and systems are greyed over. I cannot change any mode because I cant access Mode. I cant do anything in relation to setting times the system is on or off, I dont see the running man, . Please help me out this is getting ridiculous.  I have no control over anything in relation to Arlo what so ever. Obviously there is a issue. I had the system off for awhile. i turned it back on for a week now and still the same results. I have no control over the cameras what so ever. I put in fresh batteries as I bought quite a few recently, so they are all good.  I saw it was updated I believe Feb 11 2016. Have you folks done updates since? I rebooted the system numerous times with the same results. It doesnt even show the camera workingn as well . Can you remotely access my system ? I appreciate any help that will solve this issue. Thanks

The things you're trying to click on (Device Settings, Account and System) are simply headers - you click on the things under them.  The running men are on the cameras tab when you first log in, not anyplace else.  And to change times, use the Mode tab, click on your base station and use the schedule.

JOEHEAVEY717,

What device are you using when trying to access your system? Are you still having these issues? Please let us know.

I have the same problem,  The Device Settings, Account, and System buttons are greyed out.  When I log in, the cameras appear to be on line but after about a minute or two, an error message comes on each camera screen that the cameras appear to be off line and I cannot access any camera settings?  Please help.  It was not like this a month or so ago?

Device Settings, Account, and System aren't buttons - they're section delineators and aren't clickable.

Try power cycling the base to see if that helps.  What happens if you try both the app and a browser?

I tried powering off and back on for the base unit and that did not help.  I changed batteries in a few cameras but that was after the problem started. It won't let me get in to make any changes to the settings of the cameras yet it still records on motion and I can view the videos? I don't have a smart phone so I don't use the app. I tried logging in from 3 separate computers and get the same results?  What's next?

I am not sure if you did something or me deleting my browsing history did it but it started working again on one of my computers?

I didn't do anything since I can't but maybe that computer got an update for the browser and/or Flash?
