How do I switch the Arlo base station to the new WAP network?

i have installed a wireless access point in conjunction with my existing wireless router.  how can i switch the arlo base station to the new WAP network?

You don't.  The base station connects to the router with ethernet, and the cameras connect directly to the base using a closed wifi network that the base station creates.

 

So you shouldn't need to change the base station setup in any way.
