How do I safely recycle my cameras and base?

I’m removing my 2 Arlo cameras and netgear base. How do I safely recycle them? How do i safely donate them to keep my identity secret?

I just turned a bunch of stuff in to Staples which accepts a wide variety of electronic devices for free. If you don't have one near you, check with other stores (I used their websites to see who allowed what).

I got tired of buying batteries.  Got some solar cameras which are working great with better quality.  No issues in central ohio with 2 cameras on the north side of the house.
