Hello
I hace a question about my Arlo cameras , I bought them in 2017 and just opened the box and wanted to instal them . But I can’t get it connected with the new app .
Does it not work anymore because it’s to old or am I doing something wrong ?? 😬

They are very old models, but if they are working you should be able to connect them.  The first step is to connect the base station to your router with ethernet.  Then you need to add the base to your Arlo account - either with the app or using a PC browser (my.arlo.com).  After that you add the cameras.

Do you have the cameras that use four CR123 batteries? If so, are you using fresh batteries?

Also, can you look for a label on the base station that starts with VMB and let us know what it says?

Let us know the base station LED status (color and blinking status of all three LEDs)

Thank you for the quick reaction
Yes they are brand new and I just put new battery in . It’s the vmb3000
But every time I connect it it says on the app there is no Arlo divice nearby
The first 3 lights are green on the station

Try my.arlo.com on a PC.  Remember to onboard the base station first.

The 3 green lights are the problem - the base thinks it's already claimed. If these are truly new and never been used before, hold the base reset button until the LEDs start flashing amber. Let it reboot to green power and Internet LEDs - the Camera LED should be off or solid amber. Try claiming it again.

Your reply to the other user solved my issue. I have been trying to install a new (even though old) VMS 3430 system. The first time I successfully installed the base station, but kept getting a message that it was offline, even though all the lights were green. I just reset the base station, and I seem to be up and running. 🙂 Thanks.
