HI There,

Reaching out here with a unique and time sensitive topic.  I do not have an Arlo product myself (Yet).  However, my neighbor across the street uses one of these products (I am not sure which model exactly) and he "had" captured footage of a Felony-Theft that took place at my home.  I asked if he could look through his footage to help identify the cars plate and identity of driver, but, he doesn't seem to have access to the imagery anymore.  The instance took place exactly 1-week ago today.

We have an open police report asking for imagery details if possible.

Is there ANY way for me to connect with someone from Arlo (Even though I am not a product owner myself) to dig up a log of the data from that day / timeframe?

--If anyone can help here it would be very appreciative.  Either a way for me to chat with someone live on the phone, or, if anyone here in this community who does have an account and access to a live agent, could dial in on my behalf, explain the situation I outlined here, and advise that they get in touch with me (?)

Thanks in advance.

First of all, the answer is prob NO for a number of reasons...

1) distance; the cameras including the 4k cams would not be able to get a plate number at distance.  After about 40 feet ( with best cam ) the plate would prob be unreadable. This are not ID type cameras but more of an Activity camera.  Tho you will get a type of car and possible color if during day

2)  Time; depending on cameras and type of service, the past cam recordings could be a max of 1 week or  if a subscription 60 days storage

3) More than likely not (as I've never heard of it) getting access to anyone else"s data without a court order. To do that procedure would prob put you outside of the time frame anyway

4) Arlo does not have phone access. do not try to google on internet as you will end up with a scam number.

Your best bet would be access thru the neighbor which you already have done without success.  ( not  to mention, the cameras would need to be on armed to have recorded anything )
