So had my 3 camera arlo kit for a few days now and comparing it to a friends nest outdoor camera.

Here's a few things I think would be great to add if they can be added via software updates:

Activity zones - I keep getting notifications of cars passing my house and have turned the motion sensitivity down loads but it still picks them up. It would be good to exclude this area from the motion sensitivity so it only records my front door and porch.

Notifications per camera - looks like I can only turn notifications on or off for my account. Would be good if this could be configured per camera.

Thanks

Activity zones has been suggested many a time.

You can turn notifications, both push and email on and off per camera.

Go into the mode you're using (probably armed, if you havent created a custom mode.

On list of cameras, find the one you want to turn notifications off for and hot edit,

Edit the notification and hit BACK

IMPORTANT AT BOTTOM OF NEXT SCREEN IS THE SAVE BUTTON

Cars are big sources of IR and good reflectors of the sun's IR.  Rotate the camera down or reposition it so only the area of interest is in the cameras' views. Folks tend to try to get the whole scene rather than just a specific area.  In other words, if you don't want cars setting things off, don't include them.  Alternatively, I use a small strip of electrical tape over the top of my sensor on one original wireless camera to mask off the street since I can't easily rotate down any more.

PS;  as to people, the PIR device detects people about to a max of 20ft ( cars  more as they relect much IR )
