FYI - Had pink hue for a long time now and now it's gone?

Weird.  I had looked in the forum and it seemed to be you had to contact support for the Pink hue issue.  The camera inside my garage (so I can see my dog) had a Pink tinge for a long time.  I bought it to my computer so I could ask support.  I never got around to asking and after a week or so when I checked it again it was OK!  Go figure.  I hadn't done anythink like change the batteries.  

Guess I won't worry about it until it happens again.  Any ideas why it went Pink then now is ok?
