The Arlo system is great but the wifi range is insufficient to cover a big garden. It would be great that the signal be extended by each camera...

In order to extend the actual range the Arlos cover, you can add a second base ( no limit to number of bases )

Sure but 1) there is no base that is weather proof and 2) the base has to be wired. So the system is limited in a big garden. The problem could be solved if Netgear sold a compatible external antenna that could be connected to a base...
