Hi Arlo users,

Question - I have the non-rechargeable batteries at present. What is the best way to lengthen their charge? Turn off daily? Ideas?

Also - if I switch to rechargeable batteries - what are your recommendations?

THANKS

First, the best way to get max life out of batteries is to 1) have good/full signal to camera 2)eleiminate false triggers....the biggest drain on the cells is using either live view or recording... Turning off to save batteries is prob not worth the time as in the sleep ( disarmed ) mode they use almost no powewr. Keep use in spec which is less than 4-5 mins per day to get max life.

If your interested in rechargeables, there is a 60+ pages of a thread on that subject... take the time to read it before jumping and see if they would suit your needs.

BTW, my OEM cells generally run to 4 months life on best video and the couple of low use cameras make 7 months.
