I have a camera that I do not normally wish to record video for. In the app, in a mode, I cannot set the Video to Do Nothing. I can make that selection, but then SAVE is grayed out. It is an interior camera and I only want it to be available to view when I want, so I don't want to turn it off, just have it not record, or send notifications for that matter.

Doesn't appear you can just take a camera out of a mode either.

Any camera without a rule is disarmed and won't record or send notifications. Thus, remove the rule for that camera and you'll be all set.

Sort of discovered that. You can’t delete a camera from the pre-generated “Armed” mode though. I had to create a new personal ‘mode’ and just leave that camera out. That was a bit tedious when it seemed like I should be able to simply uncheck ‘record’. Might be nice to have an option to duplicate a mode, and then freely edit it, if editing default modes is restricted as it is.

The duplication would be nice - suggest it in the Ideas section here.

The Armed mode serves 2 purposes:

1) It gets the new user going.

2) It's useful for troubleshooting since you can't destroy it.
