Even if they are clean, motion sensitivity level at 1, nothing seen on cameras (even covered up to test), etc. I already tried rebooting and power cycled both base stations and the cameras. They are the original model from early 2015. Is it an age thing or something else? 😞

I had that but with Ultra. Support had me tested the camera by placing it in a drawer. It still recorded. Several resets and a very vigorous shake helped but it was a hit and miss - sometimes it did record several short videos (some of them were 1s long), and sometimes it didn't, though I've not had that problem for some time now; it looks like it sorted itself out or a firmware update did.

Anyway, it's now plugged to a solar panel so the battery doesn't go down so quick if it starts behaving like before but it's been fine now with the sensitivity being at 80.

Not sure what causes them to behave like that, but clearly not a very consistent behaviour.

Interesting. I thought it was an old age thing, but Ultra is a newer model than the one I have. And yes, mine can go crazy that I have to disable them remotely because I don't want to waste their CR123 batteries, notify me with false alerts, fill up my online cloud storage, etc. Later when ready so I can watch my iPhone's Arlo app, I turn these unstable cameras back on to see if they still go nuts. Sometimes, they do and sometimes they don't. It's pretty random! I hate it when they go bonker when I am not looking like when I am asleep or something!
