If you have a clear shoot to the garage from the base unit and get a good signal out there yes, as long as it doesn't travel thru to many walls, etc.

Ive tested mine to 75ftplus and worked fine , YMMV tho as each setup is different.

Or if you have internet/ ethernet cable out there you could also run a second base unit.
