Delay in capturing video

What I'm noticing is that by the time the camera activates and records a video, the person we should be capturing is already beyond the field of vision. For example, I don't see the face of the postal carrier, just him/her walking away after coming to my door. Sensitive is 100%

There is a trigger event to record delay, so placement can be important...

 

I had a camera mounted at my door, and moved it for this reason.  Location is now 10ft back aimed at door. as the person walks up it triggers and I get them at the door and leaving ( regardless of delay )...PS cam running at 90%
