Declining battery life

I bought my system seven months ago.  My first batteries worked for over two months- not much, but over.  The last two sets have worked for less than three weeks and then less than one week respectively.  They are indoors, vary from fifteen to forty feet from the base station. Usage has not changed. Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

If your first sets lasted more than 2+ months and there was no change, I might suspect the batteries...

 

But other things can happen... have you put in a trouble ticket?
