Connection warning

Everytime I try and log in on my computer I get a "not connected to the internet" warning at the top of the page.  And when I log in it just sits there, yet I can come here and do stuff like this or go to other internet options.  Need to be able to log in!

Sometimes this is corrected by just changing the browser to one of the other supported.. Chrome, IE>v10, FireFox
