Cannot set automation schedule on iphone app (error) or arlo.com (hangs)

When Arlo automatically updated my iPhone app to the new version, the schedules for my modes were lost. My understanding is that the new way to schedule modes is through automations. I'm trying to set very simple automations to put my entire system in standby at sunrise and to put it in Home Armed at sunset. When I try to do this on the iPhone app, I get "Error - operation failed". When I try to do it on arlo.com, the web page just hangs with a spinning circle when I click to save the schedule.
I'm not interested in manually switching modes every morning and evening. Can Arlo or the community advise?

It may be a brain fart with the servers. Give it some time and try again. I just tried it on ANdroid and it worked for me.

Exact same issue here, on both the iOS app and arlo.com on my PC. Infuriating. I just want to setup a simple schedule. And now I can't login to either the app or arlo.com, won't recognize my password.
Running three arlo pro cameras (free seven day cloud storage), and VMB4000 base.

I am able to log into my account, but still seeing same behaviour in regards to setting schedules - on both the iOS app, and my PC on arlo.com

Firmware on the base is 1.28.2.0_4739_5ee4a5
I'm pretty sure this is an issue on the backend, as evidenced by the fact that schedules can't be setup on arlo.com

Can you please change your address by putting a space or something into it. And then save it, after it is saved go back in and change it to the correct address and see if it changes what you are seeing.

I was having the same problem, both on my phone (Android) and my pc/web (Windows 11, Firefox). Just came across this post.
Like @klach , I didn't have an address set up. I did so on the website, and bingo, I was able to save automations/schedules!
I'm happy this is resolved (for me), but frustrated that I'm finding this out 2 days before my trial expires, and after "losing" tons of recordings, because the damned system kept going on "Standby", even though I kept setting back to "Armed Home"
NOT happy with Arlo!
