Cannot send downloaded files via text

hi all! I'm trying to text a couple videos but they won't send. I downloaded them from the Arlo app and select them from my photo library. Am I missing something? Thanks so much!

Hello Mpgraham,

This must have something to do with limitation to the size and/or length that you can send through SMS/MMS. You might want to check the MMS settings of the phone.

Are you using Android or iOS?

Hi Mpgraham,

Media file you send via text uses MMS. Videos downloaded from Arlo devices are in MP4 format. I suggest you check the size of the file you are trying to send then verify with your carrier if you should be able to send MP4 via MMS and the max size of video file you can only send.

Ok will do! Maybe I'll try to send just a picture and see if that works.
