Silly question but...because the lights on the base station are on the very bottom, does it matter, technically or functionally, if I place the base station on its side in order to more easily see them from the shelf I keep it on? Thanks.

The antenna is supposed to be omni directional.... I'll guess the antenna is vertical located, but who knows.
Put it on its side and test it, prob won't hurt anything. ( tho there are vent holes on the top )
Mine has laid flat for a week or two after being knocked over
As a second thought, a small piece of aluminum foil ( shiny side ) under the edge of base will reflect more lights off the leds

Thanks. I've had it on its side since earlier this afternoon and just thought I would ask since I know little about those things. The vent holes on the top are clear and will get plenty of breathing room. So far, there seems to be no adverse issue.
Good idea about the aluminum foil. Smart! Thanks again.
