Can Not Discover Base Station

I just got my Netgear Arlo system in in mail today. I am so excited but after spending 2hr trying to get my phone or Mac to discover my base system i am ready to send it back. Please help. I have done the factory reset but it is not working. uggg

There was a server problem last night that might have caused this. Try again - any luck?

 

What are the LEDs showing on the base? Power and Internet need to be green.
