Camera is connect, firmware won't update

Camera is connect, firmware won't update.

 

When I try to update with my Iphones firmware, it says "Firmware update in progress. Do not remove batterys".

After about 15 seconds the screen goes back to "Update your cameras firmware now".

It keeps repeating when I try to update.

 

Arlo is connected and everytime I walk by it a message is sent to my phone saying there's movement.  But my screen just says "Update your current firmware now".

 

Please help.  Thanks

Power cycle the base and open and close the battery door. Any luck?

I power cycled the base, opened and closed the battery lid with no luck.

 

When I try to update the firmware the light on arlo flashes blue to orange/yellow on & off.

Now that you've done this, try leaving it overnight to automatically update. I've only had limited success manually trying to get it tondo so and the reboot and camera reset was the best I could do. If the overnight attempt doesn't work, you may be left with resetting the base, removing all devices in Settings, My Devices and adding the base back in using the Add Device button on the Devices tab, followed by syncing the cameras (only a brief, <1 second press of the sync button.
