This just starting happening after a year of operating with no problems.
The camera will randomly activate and record when it's not scheduled to do so.
I have it scheduled to record when motion activated only for specific time periods from morning to mid-afternoon. It was working fine until a few weeks ago when it began to record at night and off-schdeule times. I've tried to re-set and re-sync the camera by turning the base station on and off - but the problem still persists. The only way to make sure this doen't happen is to deactivate the camera.
Can you help?

I don't recall hearing about this before. Some folks have had issues with a recording randomly happening when first opening the app - is that what's happening or is it when no one is looking at the system? It might be worth checking rule/modes and maybe resetting your schedule in case something has corrupted it.

The only thing i can think of is a glitch in the base stored memory ( esp schedule )...
And since everything else has fail to fix it I would ( if it were mine ) do a FULL Factory reset and start all fresh. Of course it will require re-sync of cams and any custom modes will also be gone.
If it fails to work properly after a full reset and fresh setup , I'd consider it a faulty unit and contact netgear.

Hello, I tried to reset the base station using these instructions:
"Try navigating to Settings, then Base Station Settings, and clicking the Deactivatebutton. All LEDs on the base station should flash amber. Once the base station is back online (Solid green power and internet LED) you then need to add it back to the account. This can be done by navigating to Settings, then Subscription and then clicking Add a Base Station. This will restore the default rules/modes for your base station."
When I got to the part to "Add a Base Station", I do not see that option under "Subscription" in "Settings"...
Can you help on how I might add my base station back to my account? Thanks!

Hello, please disregard my earlier message as I have been able to add the base station and camera to my account. I will test it this week.
Thanks for your help!
