All of sudden I have a couple of cameras that are occcasionally recording all black. It doesn't happen every time and in fact the blacked out recordings are mixed in with the normal ones.

This happened suddenly and has spread to three of my eight cameras so far.

I read a previous closed topic that said that the camera was defective, but I'm not sure if mine qualify since they do record normally as well.

Moderator, can you respond?

I have seen this in the past afew times...

First, I would check to make sure the cams have all the latest FW versions.

Then I would reset the troubled cams ( pull battery, replace battery ) and see if it solves the issue with a power button reboot of the base

Ok, firmware is 1.2.11810 as are all the cameras.

Changed out the batteries with new ones. Power cycled the base station.

Happened again last night. First recording blacked  out next one ok.

Don't understand unless camera has gone bad.
