I have two locations that require a longer term power requirement. Is there a way to wire in AC and use the wireless capability? I'll buy more of any ot the products that would support this capability.

(I have looked in the site and admit this seems a bit confusing...to me)

Thank you for your help!

It has been done by a few.... of course all warranty is gone.

read the  thread, don't power by the usb as it can cause more problems than help...hard wire as later in pictures

You could do this with the Pro cameras but there's still the warranty thing since currently there's no weather sealing on the cable being plugged in.  If you think you can do it well, you can always seal thaat connection with silicone rubber, mastic, etc. to prevent water infiltration.  Whether you do it well would be the issue.

Folks, thanks for the answers. I'm going to do it because, as delivered, the product can't work for me. I wonder why Netgear doesn't offer an option? Probably marketing consideration of 'WIRELESS'. Dunno.
