Help! I installed the

Arlo Wire-Free Security System with 4 HD Cameras (VMS3430). It has been only 2 weeks and I have changed batteries twice in 1 camera and once in the other 3????These batteries are expensive and I don't have the money or the time to change batteries every week! Is this normal? What do I do to correct this? The camera is on all day and naturally it catches motion at the front of the house steadily. Any suggestions before I get rid of it?thx

Ouch for the eyes....

First question I always ask is,

HOW much live viewing and recording are you doing??  Spec use is 4 mins a day in optimized video setting and with that the batteries should run 4+ months. If your camera is recording "steadily" as you say, then either your settings are to high for sensitivity or the camera is place improperly and getting a lot of false triggers.

The Arlo system is designed for a motion detect - then record. Excessive use will drain the batteries in a short time be it usage or false triggers.

Picture or drawing of your setup would help
