I’ve had the cameras on batteries all day. Two out of three don’t show any indication of charging. After eight hours two are still dead. Do batteries have a lifetime? What can anyone suggest to get these wired? Thank you

What model cameras are they?
If the batteries are dead flat you may need new ones.

What camera model do you have?
Have you tried this procedure?

I can’t seem to find a button to click to give me to model numbers. The cameras are the Pro model. The number had 4030 in it I’m pretty sure.
You mention following tips from a link but that link doesn’t really share any Tod bit of advice that a mildly intelligent person wouldn’t have already tried. Unless I’m missing a detail, it says to use the charger block and cord originally provided. Done ✔️. It says to check for the charging icon. ✔️. It says to pull the battery and reinstall it (as if that is going to do anything, but whatever). ✔️
Ive done all that. You then suggest that likely all three batteries died completely within the same week, coincidentally while having a monthly subscription service pushed on owners of the hardware and some of the owners posting that the DEAD batteries suddenly had new life after paying the ransom, sorry, I mean subscription.
it is what it is. I’ll keep trying and maybe my batteries will miraculously come to life. I’m confident this isn’t coincidence. I hope all the owners will share their stories and have an impact on Arlo’s future sales.

There should be a label inside the camera battery compartment, if the camera is added already into the account using the mobile app go to settings/support/the camera and look for the model number towards the bottom of the page.
There is an arlo article for recovery of dead batteries.
https://kb.arlo.com/000052305/My-Arlo-Pro-or-Arlo-Pro-2-battery-is-dead-what-do-I-do
The Cameras prevents trying to charge a dead battery for safety.
The above article process may take multiple attempts, some users have been able to recover them with persistence.

So the Arlo Pro (720p camera).
Are you using the original Arlo charger? The Pro can run on a normal USB charger, but charging the battery requires a charger that supports Quick Charge.

as I have noted several times I am only using the original charger and the original cable. When it starts charging, the icon shows that it is actively charging. When disconnected from the charging cable, the camera is unable to operate and states that it is in need of charging. So, although it’s been connected for at times, as long as 10 hours, and maybe even more, each is unable to operate

If you swap the battery with a camera that is charging, does the problem move with the battery? Or does it stay with the camera?

Given that all of a sudden none of the three can be charged, I doubt I would ever know a difference. I’ll try it but it sounds like a waste of effort.
