Base station offline- only it wasn't

New one for me- wife went outside to put up the flag. No alert from the camera outside the door. Thought that was odd so I looked at the app- it showed all cameras with an error message about the system.

 

I logged in with my computer, no problems or error messages at all. All cameras appear nominal, but no recording from thie morning. I go back to the app, now all cameras are available.

 

Really Netgear? The app now can't connect to the system unless you log in first with a browser? Was the system not functioning all night? (it worked fine when my father-in-law left after dinner but after midnight the schedule switches to armed, and goes back to external camera only at 7 am)

 

I am hoping this was a one-off glitch and that this doesn't repeat. But still...

Are you still experiencing the issue? The base/camera status should be the same regardless of which client you use to log in.
