Base station is not storing local recordings all of a sudden, I tried everything, resetting the base station, resetting the usb drive but nothing.

i have read other posts that the base station might need a software update.

Hardware is VMB4540.

is this another way of telling the customers to use the subscription plan instead, this is very frustrating.

The english text for 4 controls is (left to right)

  • Devices, Library, Mode, Settings

Five controls is

  • Dashboard, Feed, Emergency, Devices, Routines

Your icons look like "Library" (4 controls), but for some reason you aren't seeing "Settings" in the far right.

I still can’t access my recording locally

Can you provide more details?

  • Are you getting an error? Or just not seeing recordings
  • Do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" in your app menu?  Or do you instead see "Library"
  • Have you ejected the storage using the app, and then connected it to a PC?  When you do that, are you seeing recordings?

I see feed and dashboard and yes I can view the videos on my computer with the usb. No videos on my iPhone though . Local shows no events no videos

Did you also try 

  1. going to the devices page
  2. selecting the smarthub tile
  3. selecting "storage settings"

If you don't see the recordings there either, then you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

No recordings to see. I uninstalled the app and re installed it and there’s still nothing

Ok.  Did you try toggling "View Recordings" on and off?

Although it is a PITA, you could also try removing the cameras and smarthub from the account, do a paper-clip reset on the smarthub, and then add everything back.

It’s working now. Didn’t have to remove the cameras and reset everything
