Base station not coming up in app.

Hi all,

Trying to set up some older model cameras in the app. Tap “add new device”, complete all the steps. App states that the base station is now active, but when I tap finish nothing shows up in the app but the “add new device” button.

When I tap “start adding cameras” it just prompts me to add the base station again.

I’ve tried resetting the base station, deleting and downloading the app then restarting my device but I’m still going in circles. Any ideas?

Attempt to set up on the web if possible... my.arlo.com

the web seems more stable at times. 

It will also eliminate the possible app problem with a phone.

Still no go, not even picking it up. Might just need to get myself a base station upgrade, the current one is fairly old now. Thanks anyway for the suggestion!

Maybe check that the base is showing up in your router's device list?  If it is, then you could try pinging it from a PC, and see if it responds.
