Hi, i have a VMB3000 with 3 cameras of the first/oldest type i guess (not any pro)
The system works ok if i DO NOT turn it off for some period, let say 2-3 hour.
Reason for doing so is that i don`t want warnings when working in the garden and powering the base station seems to be a easy solution for that.
It has happend at least 3 times that the base station did not com online again when powered on (after garden work).
(did not connect to arlo, it is on the wifi ok)
-The base station IS on the network (can see it with network scanners)
-The correct led`s is on
-i have restarted router and base station several times
-i guess the fw is up to date (v1.12.2.9_619_04968d8)
But the stupid thing is not communicating wit my arlo account any more!! Again!!
Just before i am wrinting this i had to reset the stupid thing and now 2 out of 3 cameras is working again after a total reinstallation. Why not the 3. camera? Because i need a long ladder to reach the last camera.
So if anyone have a solution to this it would be nice because as for now my arlo is not to be trusted. If there is a power out when i am not home i can not be sure it will start up again by itself.
I will anyway start looking for another solution for monitoring my house because i do not trust arlo anymore!
😞

Why not just use the Disarmed mode to turn the cameras off? If you just use the Armed mode you can also go to the Mode card/tab and use the button to "Disarm All Devices" and then "Arm All Devices" when done.
As for why you have issues reconnecting, turning the base off causes the cameras to continuously try to connect which can wear out the batteries. Not sure that has any bearing on your problem but NOT turning off the base should keep this from happening.

@jguerdat I know about the disarm-function, but as i wrote the arlo system does not come on-line again after a longer power-out which can happend... So again: the product is not to be trusted. A minimum to be expected from something that is watching over your house is that it start work again when the power, the internet and the wifi is back.
