server was working fine then stopped. the router says that it cannot find the server. the LAN light does not light up, and no IP address is allocated for the server.

Yes your right I was in the wrong discussion group, and the server is the base station. I had tried all of that you suggested and even put the base station on a new network. The base station does have a hardwire problem related to the LAN port.I finally spoke to Arlo support via email and they agree. I am waithing now to see if they will replace the unit under warranty.

This is the Arlo Q camera section but it seems you're talking about the wireless system.
"Server" seems to be what you're calling the base station. If the Internet LED is out, that means either the base or router port is dead or the cable is faulty. Try power cycling both the base and router to see if that helps. If not, try a different router port and cable. If that still fails, try a factory reset on the base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber. Let the base initialize (~2 minutes) and see what happens. If it works, remove all devices in Settings, My Devices and start fresh as if you just got the system. Otherwise, you'll need to contact support using the Support link above to get more help and a possible RMA.
