Base Station VMB3010 doesn't update firmware

I have a Arlo VMB3010 base station when I attempt to add it to my account via the android app it finds the base and then automatically attempts to update firmware - This is where the issue is... It will continue for about 15 - 20 minutes looking to update the firm ware then times out and says something like could not connect to server... I can then go back to the main page of the app and the base is there but under the device info it only shows the serial number and nothing more and says it is offline... 

 

Any suggestions?

Remove it from your account and then hold the reset button until the LEDs flash amber. Let it reboot (~2 minutes) and then try again.
