Hi all. I’m struggling with the new app and the inability to arm/disarm certain cameras. I have two groups of cameras. Sometimes I will want both groups on, sometimes I will want both groups off, sometimes I will want group 1 on and group 2 off, and sometimes I will want group 1 off and group 2 on. I don’t seem to be able to customise this type of setup in the new app. Options are arm away, arm home, and standby. Standby I think allows me to have both groups off.  Arm away allows me to have both groups on. Arm home allows me to set it up to have group 1 on and group 2 off, but not the other way around.  Is this making sense to anyone and can you help.

Right now there are only three combinations available to you, and unfortunately you need four.

So for now, all you can do is select the three that are most important to you.  One option is to repurpose Standby to enable just one group, and then use the on/off in the video settings to turn off a group of cameras when you want to disable everything.  That can be tedious if you have a lot of cameras in the group.

Arlo has said they are going to add back custom modes (or provide another way to do the same thing).  But they have not said when they will roll that out.
