I got the Arlo free camera but yeah I put it behind the glass of my front door just like the other few cameras I had in the past but turns out that behind a glass I can't adjust the motion sensitivity....caneras in the past $30 dollars...this Arlo pro $300 I truly feel like returning it were I bought it but most of the packaging are all gone in the trash....I really don't know why I didn't saved the packaging....2 years ago we got the 4 pack cameras and we did ended up taking back....I mean NOT being able to adjust the motion sensitivity that brings this product back like 10 years ago.....waste of money right here

Passive IR detectors will always have issues with IR being blocked by most glass.  Arlo is no exception.

Not really my previous camera use to not have this issue at all "D link" I mean I wanted to get fancy with the Arlo but I see it was a waste of money

Thejerk,

Arlo Wire-free and Arlo Pro cameras are not able to detection motion through glass. For more information on this see here: Does motion detection work through glass/windows?

Arlo Q/Q+ cameras detect motion differently and will detect motion through glass/windows. You might consider taking a look at the Arlo Q/Q+ to see if it would fit your needs.
