Entire system is stuck on getting status. Have tried every solution listed in support. Every day there is a new problem with this system. Utter crap. We spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to get it to work. What a waste of $$.

Sugarboss,

Have you tried rebooting the base station (using the on-off button)? Allow the base station to come back online and try again. Do you still see the same behavior?

HI @JamesC, I've been having the exact same problem for the past week. Neither the Android app or Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer; on different computers, on clearing cache, restarting the base from the UI, turning on-off from the button, unplugging the power brick por some time, etc. work - The UI stays stuck on "Getting status..." in Android, with no possibility to do anything at all and on the web it's the same; all the status icons are gone, I can't read the battery level, if I try to access each camera or base setting it gets stucks, etc.

What should I do? Can you please help?

Thanks.

PS: The cameras are still filming, I receive every push notification on the phone and I can access the Library to view the videos. Also, all the lights are green on the base

I've been having the exact same issue as described above for about a month and a half now on my android based phone.  My wife's iPhone has no issues, so there must be some kind of bug in the Android software.  I sent off for tech support and never received a response from Netgear, surprise suprise...

Anyone have a solution?

Kuku,

Try removing the app, restarting your phone, reinstalling the app, logging in as the primary account holder if it's not you. Log off. Log in as you

I've removed the app several times with restarts in between; I've restarted everything and powered everything off multiple times with no change.  This is solely an issue with Arlo and Android, specifically version 8.1.0.  iPhone and web versions work without any issues.  I'm at a loss at this point and just hope a future software update solves the issue.

Just tried using the Android Arlo app on my wif'es Pixel 2 running 8.1 with no issues. It worked just like expected on all features I tried (library viewing of a video, live view, settings). Dunno what to tell you but it doesn't appear to be an Arlo or 8.1 issue.

Perhaps it's a permissions issue?
