I have updated my phone to the beta 18.3 for iOS. I have received email from an account holder inviting me to their cameras. The link sends me to Arlo via safari but it doesn’t give me an a place to accept. It sends me to a subscription page. When I try to go back there is a message that says the invite has been accepted. When I log into my Arlo app there are no new cameras. What is going on!?!? I have done all the trouble shooting solutions that are posted in this community. Pls help. Thank you

You accepted the invite (silently) when you logged into my.arlo.com.

Ask the account holder if

  • the invite shows up as accepted in their account
  • whether they see "Library" as a menu option in their app, or whether they see "Feed" instead.

Both accounts either need to be using "Library" or both need to be using "Feed".  It is possible to migrate from "Libary" to "Feed", but you cannot migrate from "Feed" back to "Library".

So if your account is "Feed and theirs is "Library" then they need to migrate to "Feed".  They can do that by going into "add device" and starting to add a Pro 5s camera.  They can't complete that process without having the camera, but the workflow will migrate their account before they get stuck.

There are some downsides they need to be aware of:

  1. "Feed" has no custom modes.  The three built-in modes can be edited, but there is no way to add more
  2. the combination of geofencing+scheduling doesn't work with "Feed" at the moment.

Also if you’re trying to accept the access request with Apple platform it doesn’t work.

Try using a pc to open the email request for access and open the page link to accept the request by logging in to your account.
