Motion detection works at night and early morning camera on back of house works when deck is out of direct sunlight

If direct sunlight on the PIR is preventing it from being able to detect motion, consider changing the position of the camera so it doesn't get hit with sun directly. In saying this, I have no problems with direct sunlight on the front of my cameras though they all do face downwards at least slightly
