Since my first set of batteries died on my camera. I put in new batteries, my husband checked them for power and the camera will not even show any lights while attempting to sync.

Try another set of batteries, perhaps ones from another camera that you know are in a high state of charge. Ensure all batteries are in with the correct polarity. If you put the front ones in first, they can jump to the back due to the magnet and be the wrong polarity. Ensure the contacts are clean and likely to make good contact with the battery terminals. There should be some LED on the front of the camera that blinks when you close the battery compartment door

I like to suggest that you never push the batteries down.  Just set them in place, noting correct polarity as above, and let the battery door push the batteries into place.

I believe one of my battery packs died and it was no longer connected. so I plugged it in to charge for a while but it still wouldn't connect. I swapped the battery out....blue light blinked as I closed the door but cannot get this one camera to sync again...no lights. Not even Amber.. The other 3 are working fine.
