I have an original Arlo base station, with four wireless Arlo cams and two Arlo Qs. I bought it a few years ago as a bundle. I do not have a subscription (nor do I want one)... But I'm finding lately several cameras are offline or take a long time to pull up in the app. They are registering movement and sending notifications quickly, but being able to actually access the cameras to see what's going on takes a long time or doesn't work at all.
Is it just Arlo's way of telling me I need to upgrade? I also have a camera outside with the separate Arlo chime as an early adopter I was too soon for the all in one camera doorbell.
Are any parts of this system still usable if I upgrade? Thanks for any advice!

Does it get fixed if you power cycle the base station, then returns after a day or two?

Yes. I have reset the power station and then have to resync some of the cameras even. But it doesn't seem to last

I would be interested to know if you can manually resync the camera’s near to the base station and so fix the issue.

The base isn't compatible with the newer stuff.  https://kb.arlo.com/000062284/Arlo-SmartHub-and-Base-Station-Compatibility

But the cameras and chime are compatible with the newer bases/smarthubs.

None of the newer cameras (starting with the Ultra in 2018) have free cloud storage.

Thanks! Yes I want the free cloud storage. I just like having recent recordings to watch and can download if needed rather than pay for storage. I may look into a new base station then to see if that helps.
