I have an Arlo system that has worked correctly since I purchased it almost six months ago.
Now I needed to change my old router and there is no way to connect the base station to internet (the internet led is constantly yellow).
I made all the possible attempts resetting the base station to the factory settings and starting again all the procedure but no way.
My new router is a TP LINK TL-MR 6400.
Thanks to anyone can give me the solution.

Your base station needs to have access to ports 80, 123, 443. If your ISP has set this router up to block one of these ports, you'll either have to open them yourself or get your ISP support person to do it for you

So I have an Arlo Baby that I purchased about 3 months ago. Initially, I had repeated issues trying to sync the monitor to my android smart phone. I was though able to sync it via my computer. It worked flawlessly for months up until we were doing some construction in the front yard.. The underground internet/cable wire that runs up to the house was hit while digging. The next day we had field engineer come out to fix the line and the WIFI has been working flawlessly ever since. However, I'm having the same exact problem syncing the device with both my phone and my computer now...I go through the installation process following step-by-step instructions, I select Arlo Baby, type in the wifi name and password, and then it takes me to the page where you hold Arlo up to the screen to scan the barcode. Arlo chimes after it recognizes the bar code, and then brings me to a page where it says "discovering device" . It sits on that same page seemginly almost idle for about 5 minutes where it then displays "Your Arlo baby could not be discovered". Right under that it displays "You can either check your WIFI settings and try again or try factory reset".
I've done a factory reset and tried going to the steps, didn't work
I've tried doing a factory reset and then removed the device from the devices tab on arlo.netgear.com
I've tried this process on both my android and my computer
STILL nothing.... I'm getting super frustrated as is our newborn I'm sure... I've been preaching about Arlo as I'm absolutely in love with the software, hardware, and smart features however it's kind of hard to brad about this product when I can't even get the darn thing to work..
Recommendation: Arlo should be able to at least have SOME functionality without WIFI.... The smart features are extremely useful but what good are they if your WIFI goes out? The fact that the monitor doesn't work AT ALL without a wifi connection is extremely frustrating and is not what I would have expected from such a fantastic product.
Someone PLEASE help my family and I!

You may need to factory reset the router. A setting in there may be blocking access.

Open a case with support using the Contact Support link at the bottom here. Your account may need to be reset - I recently had a similar issue and that was the solution.

Phunkodelicate,
Be sure your mobile device and the camera are using the same network SSID. (example: if connecting to 2.4GHz with the camera, be sure your mobile device is also connected to 2.4GHz).
Are you still experiencing the same behavior?
