Arlo Wire-Free camera night vision not clear

The camera is Arlo netgear VMS3130 from Base Station VMB3500.

My night vision is on. It shows  up clear as day  for a second then goes to cloudy., can barely make anything out.

do you have it mounted in a window ? or something ?

Looks a bit like the IR illumination is reflecting off a object and washing out the picture.
