Hello,
I noticed that when I check my video library my cameras (most of them at least) record just a green blur. You can see an object moving in the blur but can only see green. Another issue is that when I check some of the recording the object that is moving is pixelated and delayed in a way. I have tried to view these recordings on various differnt computer and operation systems. My cameras have full signal strength and the router is maybe 20ft from the farthest camera. I submitted a request to Netgear but was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions.
Thanks to all who reply in advanced,

After speaking with Netgear support and doing further research I found that one of my routers was broadcasting in one of the Arlos channels. My router was broadcasting on channel 4 and was ruining the video. My solution is to download a wifi analyzer and then see if anything is over lapping your NETGEAR SSID. If it is overlapping and it is your router, change the channel to one lower or higher than the router. I personally recommend 1 or 11. Looks as if router runs on channels 4-8.

It has been seen before... but def put in a complaint to Netgear.
My question would be what is your data speed in up/down? Not that this hasn't happened with good data thruput, but it can be worst if speeds are low in transfer.

I added a complaint to Netgear. I really do not perfer to go through the hassel of removing all my cameras and re-adding them. For the price you pay for these they should work with a reset needed within 2 months of purchse in my opinion.

I hope your problem is solved... But the info you mention may be wrong.
TBMK, the Arlo router ( if within about less then 20 ft +/- ) will default to the SAME channel as your router.
Netgear has found the using the same channel causes less interference the using two channels that overlap. ARlo doesn't restrict itself to channels 4-8 btw....
Now the problem arises ( since you can't set the Arlo channel) you can only change your router channel and restart Arlo , the after Arlo settles on that channel change yor router channel to avoid overlap or other strong nearby channel . This works until you reboot Arlo, at which time it will reset once again on the same channel as yr router.
If your running more than one router in the same area I could see a bad collision problem tho

Actually, I occasionally change my router channel manually and find within a day or two the Arlo has changed its channel to match. It doesn't seem to require a base station restart, unless that happens occasionally by itself
Yes... that is what we've been seeing from back in 2015.
Usu it will stay ( or at least use to ) on the channel unless restarted ( power or reboot ) but it could also jump back it the internet dropped out for a short time.
The above graph shows the main 3 Non-overlapping channels....If no other signals, that could be the best. But in my area there are at least 5 other wifi signals... these would overlap and cause a collision problem ...thats the main reason the BASE sits on the same channel as the home router.
In their tests the base is more reliable there.
