Arlo VMC3030 camera works for a while then stops

My Netgear Arlo has worked without a problem for a couple of years.

Recently (having changed the batteries) both cameras detected movement for the first few hours then stopped.

Tried

Different bateries

Re sync cameras

Re start hub

Factory reset hub

Deleting the app on my iphone and installing on my wife's with a full reset of the system

Works for a couple of detections then camera(s) stop detecting movement

Have you tried live streaming and making manual recordings when the cameras stop giving you motion alerts?

I just harped last week about mine doing this same thing. We have done all resets to no avail as it still happens.

I hear you - but my own system isn't doing this, so I still think normal troubleshooting steps are useful (since they might solve this problem in some case). 

 

When they fail, then contacting support is useful - even if it doesn't immediately resolve the problem.  Arlo will escalate problems that affect a lot of users.
