I wonder if this could be one of the causes why some of us are experiencing this media server connection.. My ISP just got hit the other day and yes, my connection slowed terribly and some websites not opening or loading up properly.. I changed my DNS and all is well now..

Is Arlo server protected by DDOS Attack? Anyone from Netgear Support? This maybe one of the checklist to troubleshoot if anyone is experiencing  "Can't Access Login" thru Browsers.. Am not too sure bout' iOS/Android Apps.. This can happen both ways.. Either Arlo's Server or your ISP.. If it's indeed your ISP then you'd need to change your DNS to resolve the issue.. Now, am not saying you change it right away.. You might wanna' try clearing internet cache, turning off system/antivirus firewall or if you have more than one browser, try it and see if it's indeed the issue.. Try it with several websites.. Symptoms usually occurs when some websites work and some will load partially or won't open up at all..

Speaking of changing DNS servers, I highly recommend using OpenDNS ( https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/opendns-ip-addresses/ ) instead of ISP servers. They've long been a preferred DNS server and are a great way to help bypass problems. See the above link for addresses to put into your router and much more information.
