Arlo Support cannot help unless I register device? Sounds like scam?

Called Arlo support they couldn’t help me unless I pay $100 or $278 to register my device?!! This sounds like a scam. I don’t want a subscription! What is this??!!

Hey Theresadnbry,

 

To also add on with what StephenB says, the support team never charges anyone for support help .For further assistance, please navigate to Settings > Support in the Arlo App for service options available to you.
