Arlo Secure - Not picking up animal activity at night

Our system seems to work perfectly - we get plenty of recordings...battery charge is good.  Several night in a row a raccoon is right in the view of the camera....but not being recorded.  Landscape being dug up by it and not showing.  We go out in the morning and we are all over the recordings...squirrels, our dogs etc.  So weird??  Any ideas?

What if you go out at night? Do you get recorded? Are you using a schedule? Have you tried rebooting the system?
