I have a dual camera (arlo, not arlo pro) system with base.

I want to have my outside camera setup to record all the time (we had a vehical stolen hence the purchase of this camera system)

I want the inside camera to only record @ night or if we are away from the house.

I am having issues setting modes and schedules to accomplish this.  Mostly as I cannot have a schedule over lap another schedule.  I setup a mode to record on motion for the outside camera, and set it to run from 12:00am-11:59pm (quite annoying we can't just select always on)

Then I setup a mode to record inside camera on motion and set it for only night time, hoping that geofencing would somehow tie into this.

Thus far I have not been sucessful.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You need to make an extra MODE.

With two cameras , your defaults are ARMED ( all on ) and DISARMED ( all off )

You at least need to make a new one for the OUTSIDE CAM

Then in schedule, you would run the ARMED mode ( all on ) from "at night"  covering inside and out

Then during "day" you would schedule only the OUTSIDE camera mode. covering outside for car.

If you leave the premise you can ARMED or use the Geo zone to ARMED which would turn on both in/out.

Tips;

Only one mode can run at a time.

Any time in schedule not covered by a mode = OFF

A schedule going thru midnight MUST break into two parts... Up to 1159PM and next day start at 1200 midnight ( to elimnate day change )

Thanks for the reply, I came to this solution after I posted my question.  Overly still not happy with the limitations of the scheduling and modes, Hopefully it will be changed/modified soon.  However unlikely.
