My two camera's have been working fine for the month that I have had them. Now, one camera just gives me the message "There was a problem establishing a connection to the media server"  I can't get a picture. Why and how do I fix this? There is no apparent problem with the camera and it just randomly failed in the middle of the day, perfect weather.

Might be dead batteries.  You can try just opening and closing the battery door first but have a set of batteries handy.

You could also try removing the camera and going back through the sync process. Log in to your Arlo account > Settings > My Devices > Select the affected camera > Remove Device.
